Angelo Syailendra is a veteran in business analysis and investment. After earning a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering with summa cum laude from the University of Michigan in USA, he went to Stanford University to read a master’s in Economics and Finance. He worked as an analyst and associate in companies such as Morgan Stanley and Affinity Equity Partners. He also helped to establish foodtech startups Klik-Eat and BlackGarlic. Angelo is currently a director at a data centre company DCI Indonesia.

Biologist Luis Rubio González has a PhD and over 15 years of experience as a researcher and consultant in public and private organizations. He also completed an Advanced Studies Certification at the University of Murcia and has a master's in Food Quality and Safety from the Madrid Institute of Training (IMF Business School). In 2019, he became the co-founder and CPO of agroSingularity, a Murcia-based foodtech producing natural powder ingredients from raw materials sourced from wasted agricultural by-products.

Francesc Riverola is a business angel and the chairman of FXStreet. He launched FXStreet in 2000 while working as an e-Research Manager at PwC and at the IESE e-Business Center. He was CEO of the worldwide forex reference portal until 2012.He is also an investor at Lanta Digital Ventures, a Barcelona-based VC for early-stage startups in Spain and Europe. Born in Palo Alto in California USA, he moved to Barcelona as a child. He has an Economics degree from the University of Barcelona and a PDD in management development for company directors run by IESE Business School.

Founded in 2011, London-based Agronomics Limited’s principal investing interest is in environmentally-friendly alternatives to the traditional production of meat, wherever they may be located. There are currently 17 companies in its portfolio, all of them in the cellular-based or plant-based protein category and sustainable food production.Its most recent declared investments have been in the March 2021 $48m Series A round of Dutch cell-based meat startup Meatable which leverages pluripotent stem cells for the first time in foodtech, and in the December 2020 undisclosed pre-seed round of Chinese cellular foodtech CellX.

Spain’s fastest-growing car-as-a-service startup, now acquired by the Renault Group, is profit-making and operates across Spain, France and Italy, with 10,000+ subscribers. 

Albert Domingo is a Spanish entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder and CEO NexTReT, which was established in 1992 to provide IT systems and infrastructure services. Domingo is also an active business angel, backing startups as a partner investor in Barcelona-based venture builder Itnig's network, which has seen two exits, Gym For Less and Playfulbet. He studied computer engineering and also management development at the IESE Business School in Barcelona.  

Ricardo Jauregui Telleria joined healthtech startup DyCare in Barcelona as CTO and co-founder in 2016. Previously, he was PMO at Roche/Emminens Healthcare Services in Sant Cugat, Barcelona, and Project Manager at engineering company Altran Spain, Barcelona. He has also worked in project management and research at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Group, was General Manager at E&R Systems and an engineer at telco Movistar. Jauregui holds a PhD in Electronic and Electromagnetic Compatibility from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and is a qualified Project Management Professional.  

Founded in 2020 in Boulder, Colorado, Trailhead Capital is a specialist agtech and foodtech investor that focuses on startups in the US, Canada, Australia and Israel. The VC’s regenerative agriculture portfolio includes investments in food ingredients traceability, food supply chains, reducing food waste and soil health environmental management.Recent investments include in the $12m Series A round of Vence, a US-based producer of virtual fencing wearables for livestock management in May 2021. In February 2021, it also participated in the $6m funding round of foodtech HowGood that specializes in rating the sustainability of grocery products.

Media Digital Ventures is the first Spanish Cross-Media fund focusing on Media for Equity. It holds multichannel advertising assets across major media sectors. Based in Barcelona, MDV also creates multimedia and advertising campaigns for scaling high-growth startups in return for equity.MDV is co-founded by Gerard Olivé and Miguel Vicente. Both are serial entrepreneurs, investors and co-founders of Antai Venture Builder, Wallapop, Deliberry and Chicplace. Vicente, who exited LetsBonus which he founded in 2009, is also the president of Barcelona Tech City.

An entrepreneur and investor in new technologies and digital business, Manuel Serrano has extensive experience in the field of digital transformation and startups' mentoring.He is the managing director and founder of FHIOS Smart Knowledge, a company that specializes in consultancy services for digital innovation, where he has worked since 2012.  Serrano is also a committee member of FC Barcelona, the city's famous soccer club, and an investor in fast-growing Spanish startups like Red Points, Wysee and CITIBOX. He has also managed and founded several IT companies in the Barcelona area.

Didac Lee is a Spanish entrepreneur and angel investor of Chinese descent. Lee focuses on investments in Spanish startups with recent participation in seed rounds of e-sports training program Gamestry and life management tool Eelp!Based in Barcelona, he has also established 15 companies including co-founding Galdana Ventures, a VC with interests in the US, Asia, Israel and Europe. Galdana has a portfolio of 30 companies with total investments worth US$1bn. Other companies include Tradeinn online sports stores and Inspirit business incubator. The serial entrepreneur is also a board member of Barcelona FC.

Abac Nest was founded in Barcelona in 2017 by the team behind Abac Capital, and supported by a network of industry experts and investors. Abac Nest mainly invests in early-stage investments. 

Itnig was formed in Barcelona in 2011 as an independent and private initiative of a serial-entrepreneurs and tech-enthusiast group.Headquartered in 22@, the tech district of Barcelona, the company offers startup mentoring and services including accounting, business and software development, legal and human resources. Itnig acts as a startup builder, counting on a network of more than 160 people and over 70 investors. The company has also created its own fund to invest a maximum of €100,000 per company without following up on the investment.To date, Itnig has contributed to forming six startups. 

Demium Startups is a startup incubator with offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. It has two other branches: Demium Games that focuses on the video-gaming sector and Oarsis, oriented to startups working on VR/AR-related technology.
